This week Tárnoki
okosok, the basic socialization training organized by Kutyatréning came to an
end, during these 4 Sundays our kennel-row protegees could learn together with
their partners. For our dogs it means a lot that every week for one or two
hours they are the sole focus of attention, the tons of gift bites and love are
just extras. The last occassion the certificates and T-shirts were handed out,
came as a surprise for our volunteers. We do hope to meet you again springtime!
Our vizsla breed rescue group is currently
operating well beyond its power, the tendency for adoption is unfortunately
declining, parallel to this we get a help request for vizslas in trouble almost
every day.
Zserci arrived at our care from his former
owners when they moved away and left him alone in an abandoned yard. The
neighbours took care of him and asked for our help in his placement.
Father Füles was found by animal friendly
people as wandering in the street. They took him to the veterinary, he turned
out to have a registered microchip. They managed to reach his owner on the
phone, but contrary to his promise he did not show up for his dog. In the end
the vet asked for our help in placing him, hence he got to our care. A few days
later his owner appeared, Füles got back to him.
Ugar was the only one this week to get
adopted, left the kennel row behind to move to a final family.
Paleo Plútó arrived at our care from his
previous owner, a very sensitive-souled one, the changes evidently wore him
down.
Eber, the puppy wire-haired vizsla got to
our care from his previous owner. His full-range medical check-up is to take
place next week as he has breathing difficulties.
Dudva Dani, the vizsla boy wounded in an
accident could leave the hospital and moved to a family pansion adopter.
We were finalists in a game in September
and thanks to the followers of our page were ranked 4th amongst the „respected
and beloved animal protective organizations”. As a result of this our
Association received a 3-session physiotherapy ticket thanks to Dr. Péteri -
Kutya fizioterápia. The first occassion Zétény, our apathetic,
skinny vizsla-mixture protegee had a visit at Dóra.
Our Great Dane breed
rescue group is over an active week…
In Corvette, the beautiful striped guy no
serious interest was shown till now, this we cannot really understand, he is
such an unbelievably funny, nice big boy. From this week on he is continuing
his owner search from his temporary adoptive’s home.
Kiwi, Corvette’s great
girlfriend needed to get operated for her double-sided Harder-gland
forward-fall, she underwent it this week. The spotted girl is already waited
for by a loving family, hopefully she can soon move to them.
Henrik is not among our
most lucky protegees. Since his arrival he has already spent months at the
kennel row, then moved to an owner, from whom returned to our care a couple of
days later. Now he is trying it again, left our care this week, we do hope for
the real one this time. We wish you all the best, dear Henci!
At the Dachshund breed
rescue we had a more silent week because of the long weekend.
Szőrkefe arrived at our
care from the Gyömrő flaying house. This really funny-appearing boy is a
wonderful one, we can only say nice and good things about him – time has also
come now he moved to an owner. He got to someone as their first dog, also taking
him to their workplace. We wish you a lot of happiness in your new life!
Connor used to live in
a kennel for a year for his escaping attempts – upon his arrival he turned out
to be a clever, nice one, absolutely non-problematic.
Now he moved to his new
home, getting everything he needs – long walks, love, resting on the sofa, all
in all, becoming a happy dog finally.
Vadalma, the
long-haired Dachshund mixture girl came from the Fehérgyarmat flaying house,
underwent neutralization in the beginning of the week – now she is already
awaiting the mails from those interested, hopefully can soon move to an owner.
Izolda, a member of the
wire-haired Dachshund mixture family, the Mom of Likőr is a candidate for
adoption, she is soon moving to her new home.
Bomo welcomed visitors
this week, to our greatest joy he is now a candidate for adoption.
The only cat-protegee
of our chanceless mixtures’ group, Hapci Benő, affected by cat AIDS, underwent
neutralization this week, by now she was strong enough for the operation. She
is still a perfect, calm elderly cat, absolutely non-problematic. She is to be
adopted as a sole cat, exclusively indoor keeping.
Zomé has been with us
since February, but even though she is nice, used to be living inside and a
smaller size one, nobody has spotted her as a perfect mate during these long
months. Her time might have come now, our Austrian partner organization has
found her an owner, hence Zomé is now a candidate for adoption.
