We promised to write you in details everything about the happenings last
week, when our protégées were taken by force – so many questions were raised
related to it, and at the same time we can also reflect on the groundless
charges.
The case is still taking an enormous amount of
our time and energy, but life has not stopped around our groups – as we are
responsible for our protegees.
At our vizsla breed rescue group Abrosz and
TúróRudi produced negative heartworm tests, meaning they underwent
neutralization. Both of them took the intervention well, are ready to move to
their final owners. Regarding their adoption please contact us with your
introduction letters at magyarvizslasos@gmail.com.
Korom Bese has strengthened significantly, this
way he was also neutered. In the nearby future he is getting visitors, we do
hope he will soon be able to continue his life in a loving family.
Dudva Dani fitted in perfectly in his temporary
adopter’s life, meaning we had nothing left as to sign the adoption agreement,
so that he officially became an owned one. We wish him long and happy owned
years to come!
Tango and Cash also had their heartworm tests
negative, both of them were neutered. They are ready for ownership, but we
still have to find their dream families. Regarding their adoption, we are
awaiting your introduction letters to magyarvizslasos@gmail.com.
We learnt from the community site that a
terribly thin wire-haired GSP girl had been found. To our greatest shock some
days later two other dogs were found in a similar condition, looking just like
the first one. Following it a new case emerged, just like the previous ones. We
do not want to go around guessing who might be responsible for their fate, but
have our ideas on the person. Thanks to a fantastic standing together they all
got to safety, then two landed at Vizslamentes, two at our care. Rezgő Rozi
needed hospitalization because of her condition, very shaky and thin, can
hardly walk and arising from her scabies she bit her tail to skin,
unfortunately the suspect of pancreatitis has also emerged in her case. She is
thought to be only 2,5 years old. Her mate, Füzike moved to a family pansion,
very young, might be under 1 year of age, all skin and bones, kind and is very,
very much afraid.
We cannot even imagine what they could have gone
through to get to a state like that, both physically and mentally, are only
concentrating now on getting them strong and healthy.
Besides the good wishes and crossing you fingers
we also need to ask your financial support. Please, if you can, donate to
Futrinka Egyesület’s bank account at K&H Bank, our account number is10404089-49575251-57561000.
For a PayPal donation please use the „Donate” button on the bottom of our
homepage, www.futrinkautca.com. Please indicate at the note: Vizslas of Tiszaujvaros, Rezgő Rozi and
Füzike.
Pletyka arrived at our care this week, we thank
for her previous adoptive, the owners of Lukas that they took her temporarily
at their care. She is a cca 8-week-old little girl, but is always contradicting
her puppy nature. She is seriously guarding the house, absolutely
flat-compatible, does not re-arrange the flat, is not chewing, housebroken,
will patiently wait for getting fed, is sleeping through the night firmly.
Currently she is beside another dog, might be getting afraid when alone, but
when a cat, dog, man is beside her, she is a real angel. She is thought to be a
vizsla mix, but a tiny one, will grow maximum mid-size. Very cuddling, loving,
nice little girl! Pletyka can only be adopted with indoor-keeping, continuing
her vaccination programme and an obligation for heartworm-prevention and
neutralization.
At our base group we were fighting for the life
of Árnyék upon his arrival at our care – he came from his previous owners, was
kept chained, all skin and bones. His red blood cell-number was extremely low,
his blood being almost transparent. According to the vets him being alive was a
real miracle, he was hospitalized for a couple of days, so that his results get
better. His ultra-sound result was even more shocking, his stomach being full
of something hard. But Árnyék was fighting his chances and medicine, so many
were crossing their fingers for him and supported him that he simply had no
other choice but to get well. The „things” with which his stomach was full and
which were said to be impossible to get out on a natural way, at the end left
him so, thanks to the good-quality and necessary quantity of food. We were
extremely happy not having to put him out to a risky operation.
Till the age of 14 he must have undergone an
extreme amount of pain and horror but thanks to joining together he was given a
chance for a happy life. By now he has opened up beautifully and got much
stronger, hence underwent neutralization and is ready to find a final owner.
Regarding his adoption please send your introduction letters to
info@futrinkautca.hu.
Things just speeded up around Palotás Panni
recently. Last Wednesday she was taken from us by force, we freed her, then
moved to a temporary adoptive and this week found her final owner. Pannika, we
wish you long and happy owned years to come!
This week Narancs was the lucky one to get
adopted, already living with her owners.
Many were interested in her, finally she moved
to Balaton Felvidék, to a young couple, warmly welcoming her. Unfortunately,
after her arrival kennel cough was diagnosed at her, sadly this happens, but by
now she is much better already.
During the weekend several dogs arrived at us,
waiting for weeks already to get to our care.
Stockes, Kiki and Bejke, the three little girls came from PCAS.
Stockes and Kiki are wire-haired Dachshund mixtures, Bejke is a black-tan
short-haired Dachshund mixture girl. Currently the most important is that they
get over the necessary vet rounds, so that afterwards only need to wait for the
arrival of the suitable owner.
Monthy, the 8-year-old black-tan short-haired
male arrived from Kalocsa. So far he had not had a nice life, we would like to
find him a loving owner with a very happy home.
Babona arrived from the Hajdúhadháza flaying
house, very thin, has a breast tumor and her hips also need to get checked-up,
but actually we are talking about a beautiful, short-haired Dachshund lady. We
do hope to be able to recover her health completely.
