What happened at Furtrinka during week 24?

Now, the week has gone relatively quietly, although there is always plenty to do around our proteege.

In our core activity group, Locsifecsi Márk found an owner this week. Márk came with his Vizsla fellow into our care in February, but unfortunately he was not fascinating for interests. The freshly-operated, inflamed-wound dog was removed from the farm in May. After we got back to him, his caretaker assumed his temporary admission. There was great harmony growing between them and his scar well healed. He let go to start a new life on the side of his family and his four-legged companion. We wish him a long and happy years with his new family!

In the Vizsla rescue group,it was relatively quiet week, because of the full house but we still had a lot to do around our proteege.

Méri's routine Dirofilaria test was negative, so she is over the her castration. She is now ready to find a definitive family.

A request to help has been received from a carrion-pit in Debrecen. A 6-year-old Vizsla female dog (called Csuti) needed help. We have helped her as a receiving organization. As a host, we will help to find her final home and owner in the future.

Elemér arrived into our care from Győr’s carrion-pit, then he was placed at a temporary reception. Our former proteege moved to his family this week. Síp’s owners adopt him. We wish him a long and happy years with his new family!

Here is the summer,there is heat, but unfortunately for Princess this does not make the joy much like many of us. The stuffy warm, dusty, pollen air is the greatest danger for the wheezing horses. Unfortunately, in the case of horses, the wheezing can not be cured, it can only be maintained with due care. In these summer months we have to pay close attention to our animals suffering from this disease. Although Hercegnő spends most of her days in the pasture, we realized that the weather is too hot for her and her breathing is uneasy. We would like to make it easier for her to be tide over hard times on these summer days, with a special herbal blend and essential oils for breathing. We are still tried grinded horseradish and honey combo, though Hercegnő is gourmet enough. Daily bathing is also very good for her, refreshing and freeing her from dust. Unfortunately, we had returners again this week. It always fills us with sadness. We are trying to do everything not to happen again, but unfortunately no chance to prevent these situations.

 Sör returned after half a year. The reason is family circumstances. Fortunately, he is a perfect dog and he did not affected it very much. He immediately returned to playing great with his friends.

We were happy to report about Bomó last week, as he could move to his owner. Unfortunately, we got bad news. Local animal defenders found the dog on the street two times on the week, so they informed us for the second time about the thing. Bomó moved back to us. Unfortunately, as it turned out, he had a bloody diarrhea on arrival, which we did not know. So his medical treatment started immediately, his condition is nicely improving and waiting for his new family.

The small Tamita moved to his owner this week. There were several candidates, we tried to find the best place for him and we look forward to the news about him.

Málnácska is a 1.5-year-old short-haired black-cherry dachshund mixture, who arrived to us from her previous owner. Her ego is still very big, but we hope that we can quickly convince her that she is not the leader of the team.
