In the Hungarian Vizsla Breen Rescue Group, Lizka`s
puppy, Október has found a loving home. We wish the beautiful Vizsla baby a
long and wonderful life.
Kalamajka was handed over to us by his former
family and currently, he stays in a temporary home. He has much to learn, as
evidently, he has never been thought to discipline before.
It is important for our organisation to teach the
younger generation for the responsible keeping of pets and animals, so it was a
special pleasure for us to be invited by the Addetur Baptist High School. The
school has been operating for over two decades with the aim of helping the
integration of disabled and autistic young people into society and improving
their chances in the labour market.
Our volunteers gave a presentation about our
organisation`s work, its activities and talked about the importance of animal
protection, and the responsible way of keeping pets. Our four-legged helpers
during the visit were Edgar and Gipsz as well as our protégé, Ügyes.
We are grateful for the invitation and the many
tangible gifts that the school has collected for our dogs! As soon as the
weather gets milder, we would like the students to visit Futrinka too.
It is our pleasure to report that during this week,
five of our dogs got a new chance from life and moved into their new, permanent
homes.
Oreo spent nearly 1.5 years with us, unfortunately
without any interest, but finally, someone fell in love with him too. The first
visit went great, our little shy boy immediately landed on the potential master's
lap. It was love at first sight for both parties, so Oreo now is a resident of
the city of Debrecen.
Brie, the shy little girl, was very lucky. Right
after her arrival at Futrinka, there was interest towards her and the visit went
great too. She has been adopted shortly after that. Brie is now a member of a
loving family.
Púder also stole the heart of someone, so she waved
farewell to us and moved into her forever home.
Lokátor had been waiting for to be rehomed for two
months, but some awesome photos brought him luck and suddenly a large number of
people were interested in our little friend. Finally, Lokátor was adopted by a
person who adopted from us before. The little doggy with the not so little ears
will share his home with our former protégé, Tőzike.
We received a new dog, Pongó the short-coated
Dachshund mix boy, who`s master could no longer look after him due to serious
illness. He's scared and does not understand why he had to leave his old home,
but we are hoping that he will settle soon and finds a loving home again.
