Our
Hungarian Vizsla Rescue group got an invitation again to the Család Barát
Magazin (Family Friendly Magazine) tv show which aires on Duna TV every morning
on weekdays and Saturday.
We
got an invitation to the Saturday show on the 9th May together with the family
of the pentathlon champion László Fábián who lost their hungarian vizsla Rumli
not long ago.
The
family was very happy for the two guest vizslas Szalma and Szella who were
accompanied by our president who said a couple of words about the correct and
adequate way of keeping a hungarian vizsla. Szalma and Szella had a good time
they felt themselves at home like they were born for that.
If
you missed the show you can have a look at it on the following link, the short
report starts at min. 46:
The
Association received a warrant for modification concerning our Statutes. One of
our templar member made the necessary modifications and this week our general
meeting approved it.
The modified
Statutes of the Futrinka Association can be found on the website.
This week
unfortunately we had four arrivals but no adoption although a couple of our
protegees had visitors.
Also this week arrived Sz. Gombóc wire haired vizsla boy who is not very photograph well but very sweet. His previous family gave up on him because the change in their circumstances. He moved to foster family right away where he feels very good with his new pack.
And to have the gender gap equalized Bodony the half wire haired vizsla boy has arrived. He is a little humble-mouthed and skinny but we are sure he will cope with the situation fast.
Beő had a negative heart worm test so he could undergo the neuter operation which went well. Unfortunately without the dream owner he moved back to our kennels.
During the previous week no one was adopted from the Dachshund rescue group but this week recompensed us! Frédi was waiting for more than a year to have a suitable, competent family who wants him as a companion but finally this family came into sight. We are very delighted with Frédi’s luck.
Frédi is not the only wire haired dachshund who was adopted. Fregoli also left our care who instantly bonded forever friendship with his young boy owner.
Berény was almost not adopted while the planned owners backed out but one of our previous adopter wanted a second dog exactly like Berény so he could moved.
We did not keep Olivia King for long, she found her definite owner. We keep our eyes on the little girl but luckily she took the first difficulties seamlessly.
Hol, the short haired dachshund male who arrived from an irresponsible “breeder” found his home at Miskolc with a young couple to where his fosters delivered him.
From our kennels two wire haired males went to neuter surgery this week. Súgó the middle aged calm, tranquil male was one. Luckily his heart worm test was negative before the surgery.
From Debrecen arrived Igenigen whos owner lost interest in him. Igenigen is unfortunately very timid. We hope he will get over his shyness at us.
From a village a mix male was reported whos original owner was not found but a couple of villagers tortured, chained and dragged him. He got the name Vasco in our care because we could not say no to him and we hope he will found his owners soon. For two weeks he is waiting for hi original owner!
Antenna, URH and Szevasztavasz had a negative heart worm test so all three had a neuter surgery. We hope they won’t have to wait long for the definite owners.
From our Jack russel terriers Connie Island found a definite owner, Princess Leila moved to our kennels for socialization purposes and she is waiting for the visitors as Vilike’s roommate.
Our Great Dane Rescue group broadened with a young dachshund mix male. Toki Tok was found by the head of the Great Dane Rescue group. Lack of a chip we took him in our care and he got accommodation at our kennels. We started his vaccination and he got a chip.
