This week we had some lucky dogs who
could move to their new homes. However, there are always new ones.
This week Omnia, an elderly dachshund
lady arrived from Szerencs to our care.
She was found in the street without a chip of course and nobody was
looking for her. At first she did not like the situation but she soon got used
to being able to manage others, being with other dogs and getting more love.
Apóka had heartworm after his arrival
and now finally his test was negative. He is healthy. Now the focus is on
protection.
The old dachshund gentleman mixture
is looking for an owner and family to live peacefully in love.
Sör had visitors last week and moved
this week to the new home. He soon realized that he got home and now he is a
very good dog. He is learning with the owners how to live together. Of course
he has not forgotten that he is a dachshund.
Pöti arrived very very skinny with
tits full of milk but her puppies were not found. Fortunately, she got better
very fast. It turned out that she is house-trained, a very friendly and
affectionate little girl who can still trust people after all these problems
she had. It was clear that the visitor family would love her a lot. Love at
first sight for both parties. She moved to her new home and now she goes to
work with the owner and even helps with the work.
Fagyi has not had a lot of good
things in life. He is afraid of men and after arriving he did not get on with
other dogs either. Fortunately all this has changed fast. Care, love and
delicious food have all helped a lot. On Sunday he also moved to his new place.
He also goes to work with the owner and their relationship is getting better
and better. Of course there is still a lot to learn.
Kapor just like Sör also moved to the
new place. The new family has a lot of experience with dogs and we were informed
that everything is ok.
Our Vizsla Rescue
Group had a calm week again. One dog arrived and one dog was adopted.
Falusi Málna was
brought to us by the ex-owners. Her socialization is not perfect at the moment
but her caretakers at the dog hotel are working on these issues.
Méri was also adopted
this week. We wish him many happy years with the family!
Our Basic Group had a
fantastic celebration this week. Smiley, who was a family seeker for a very
long time, finally moved to his new home. Smiley came to us about 1.5 years ago
with his pointer partner and had to wait for a very long time for the dream
owner. We wish you very many happy years with the new family!
Nefera returned to
the Great Dane Rescue Group. The dog was adopted together with Segundo and even
though they made a real effort, the two dogs do not get on. After a more
serious fight the decision was made: as Segu was the first one chosen and also
the one with fewer chances, Segundo will stay. Nefera, however, needs a new
place. So Nefi is looking for family. For more information please write to nemetdogsos@gmail.com.
