By now it is
absolutely for sure: autumn has arrived. Unfortunately our dogs at the kennel
row cannot tolerate the rainy days so well, but the greatest challenge of all
are the cold nights. We have to get ready for the winter, no question about it.
We have already set the day for it, 18 October 2015, please join us. For
details and participation please contact info@futrinkautca.hu!
This week
four vizslas arrived at our care. János vitéz, the wire-haired one came from
his previous owner.
Detti as well…
Frozina, the young Hungarian vizsla female
has been found in Biatorbágy, not microchipped, hence for the next 14 days we
are looking for her original owner.
Milos, the young Hungarian vizsla male has been found in Atkár, but due to his constant wish to escape he could not stay any longer at his rescuer. He does not have a microchip either, consequently for the next 14 days he is also looking for his original owner.
Three of our protected dogs visited the vet this week. The routine heartworm test of Benitez proved to be negative, hence he could become neutered. Luckily everything went well, making Benitez ready for being adopted.
The routine heartworm test of Almádi Dorka resulted negative.
Jánkó, the half-blinded vizsla puppy had
an ophthalmological check-up, showing that most likely the inflammation caught
his eye when it had just started to open. This way it could not develop
further, hence stayed a little smaller than his healthy eye. He does not suffer
from any pain, consequently the operation would not be justified – and unfortunately
his eyesight could not be brought back by it.
Three dogs
have landed at the Great Dane breed rescue this week: Sheldon, the blue male, and Jojo
& Moby, the deaf puppies.

Luckily a
Great Dane has also found his owner, Vadar
was the fortunate one.
At the
Dachshund breed rescue the mixtures came forth this week.
Though the flaying house of Gyöngyös is always at full house, by now they became completely overflooded, hence the threat of putting to sleep has also appeared. We managed to help, this way the group of our protected ones grew with the Terminal Ladies, namely Déli, the brown, typical Dachshund mixture lady, Keleti, the silky, black angel and Nyugati, the cute little one.

We also had
a mixture among those becoming owned this week, as the extra compatible lady
from Eger, Penna, absolutely easy to
handle for beginners also, found her family.
The other lucky one leaving us was Hanta, the red-tiger Dachshund female, becoming a vet’s dog from now on, the adopter being the same vet, previously owning Peti, the disabled Dachshund taken from the Kalocsa shelter..
