This
week we had some newcomers just as well as adoptions.
Virgonc,
our short-haired male Dachshund mix has changed a lot during the time he spent
with us. Now his time has come as he was adopted this weekend. Wish you
happiness, little boy!
Randy
arrived 7 months prior and he is an absolutely lovable dog. During the
Dachshund Meetup a family visited him and now the time for moving has come.
Unluckily, after his arrival he managed to escape his new home. Although, us
alongside the owners were searching him, we didn’t find anything. We will
provide further information in the upcoming blogposts.
Seriff,
a 7-year-old girl was taken into our care from her previous owner this week.
She is a kind and friendly dog who enjoys the company of her other peers. She
went through a spine surgery two years ago but it heald really well. She is a
bit chubby so she is on a diet, though her temporary owner takes a good care of
her.
Artemisz
could initiate his new life as an adopted dog this week. His family visited him
during the Dachshund Meetup and wanted to take him home immediately. However,
the time for moving has come just now.
We
had several newcomers at our Vizsla Breed Rescue Group this week. Animal
protectors asked for help in the case of Csenge and Csanád who were both in
terrible conditions. Taking them into our care, they have immediately been
carried to hospital. Due to coccidiosis they are suffering from diarrhea and
depression.
Betty’s
owner was hospitalized in September. She asked for our help via cellphone and
Betty, this enthusiastic girl, after a bit of organization, arrived to one of
our temporary owners. Sadly, we sent the owner pictures of Betty the other day
to no avail. She couldn’t answer anymore. Betty attended the funeral as well.
The young dog was shattered to pieces over the loss of her owner.
Doggy’s
heartworm test came back as negative so he went through the castration process.
He was abandoned and as the 14 days have passed without his owner contacting
us, we are about to seek a new home for him.
Szöszi
was taken into our care from the flaying-house in Debrecen. She was spayed and
while she was recovering at her temporary owner, now she has been moved to her
new family. We wish her the best as an adopted dog!
The
Állatbarát Alapítvány of Nyíregyháza asked for our help in the case of a mixed
wire-haired vizsla so Pálcika arrived at the weekend. He was regularly beaten
with a shovel so unsurprisingly, he refuses to go for a walk, wets himself,
squeals and throws himself on his back at any given chance. For the time being,
everything is new for him, he is scared but we know his condition is going to
get better.
