We are happy to
announce you that we have had a successful week, during which, three of our
dogs could move to new homes.
Sheriff, the lovely little girl that had a spine surgery two years
ago, moved to a forever home, where a similar Dachshund boy will be her
playmate. The family often goes on hikes and takes trips to their cabin, where
the little Dachshunds will have a great time together. We received the
promising message from the new masters that Sheriff`s arrival and integration to
the family went smoothly. We wish them very many happy years together.
Kaszanova, the Wire-Haired Dachshund boy was visited several times
previously by an interested party. Finally, last weekend, he could move to his
new home, where the family was well-prepared for his arrival. We wish them a
very happy life together.
There was much interest towards Balán, but somehow his
adoption never came to realisation. Then, we brought Balán to the attention of one of our former adoptive families. The visit
was so successful that the little Dachshund could move into a new home right
away, where another dog, Szipi was waiting for his arrival. We couldn`t be any
happier for them!
Lokátor, the Wire-Haired
Dachsund mix girl with quiet unique ears, came into our care from an
organisation called Kóborka.
Csenge and Csanád, the protégés of our Vizsla Breed Rescue Group,
were fighting for their lives due to an inflammation in their intestines, when
we received them as puppies. Since then, they both got healthy and strong. This
week, the duo moved into a loving family, together.
The super sweet Cukorborsó too, found a forever home this week.
We wish all our
dogs that found forever homes and their new families a very happy life together!
Huba came into our care from his former family. Although, he is 12
years old, he is in good health. He is kind to people, friendly to other dogs
and he loves the comfort of the house. We still have work to do with him,
because if something does not happen his way, he let`s us know immediately.
Jiza`s test for Heartworm Disease was positive when she came into
our care, but thanks to the slower but safer treatment, she is free of the
disease. She has been neutered and everything went fine during the procedure.
Ébenlány, the protégé of our Chanceless Mix Rescue Group, produced a
negative test for Heartworm Disease; therefore, she could be neutered
during this week. She is spending the time of post-op recovery in the loving
care of her new family. We wish them many happy years together.
Oroszlion moved to a temporary fostering family this week, where
he learns a great deal each day. The sweet pup is looking for a forever home
and available for adoption.
Last Saturday we organized an Adoption Day, where we invited
everyone for a cup of tea and some delicious meal with us, while the children
were entertained with arts-and-craft. Many came to the event, despite the
chilly weather. Our protégés received special
attention, got to go on walks, were stroked and played with, not to mention the
tasty treats they were fed with. The amazing visitors brought much needed food
and other useful donations to us. It was great to see how many people cared
about our dogs, thank you all! We had a lot of interests in several of our protégés too. Overall, it was a very successful event!
