What happened at Furtrinka during week 16?

Since the foundation of our association the social engagement is important to us. In this way we would like to help more for the indigents in Piliscsaba. Thanks to one of our volunteers,our temporary host we assisted in the elderly home. We have organized an activity with examined therapeutic dogs.

Tanya-Suli ended on Sunday, where our protegee participated in dog school sessions for five Sundays.

They learned basic commands, acquainted with unknown landmarks and practieced on obstacles. Unfortunately, the weather was not good with us, ones the sun was shining, then turned on cloudy and rain began falls. Nobody was disappointed, the lesson had a great mood. At the same time, everyone had the bitter feeling that unfortunately the sessions were over. It was a pleasure to see how well our protegee and volunteers liked each other during these five occasions. They learned so many things and were able to accomplish the tasks that seemed frightening at first. Some of them found owner during the school period, some of them have already an owner candidate, but we hope the ones that do not have an owner, will find their dream family as they know already the basic competencies.

We can not be greatful enough for those volunteers who sacrificed their leisure time on our protegee and took part in the activities! As an acknowledgment, we rewarded them with our organization’s T-shirts and degree.

In the Vizsla rescue group, the week started with a very sad news. It's always difficult if a protegee leave us. The death is even more difficult and meaningless, if a puppy dies. The miracle is now over, Winn and Wally have given up struggle after a long fight. They have lived 3 months.Why? Because somewhere an irresponsible person did not castrated his dog and put the unwanted litter on the street, exposed to all dangers and infections. We can not, we do not understand why ... We never will.

Dudva Dani moved with an optional status to a host, if everything is OK, she would like her to be adopted.

Csipike’s Dirofilaria test, unfortunately showed positive results. We have to start the slower but safety treatment againts Dirofilaria.

Beatricse's routine Dirofilaria test was negative, so she is over the her castration.

Monododo did not take part in the last Tanya-School activity, but he wasn’t sorrowing, beacuse he moved to his final family on Saturday.

Despite the young age of Pici Bella she had no easy life. Animal lovers asked for our help to her.

Csillag moved to her final family, they were already waiting for her arrival.

In our core activity group, Eastwood has finalized his status at his host on the week. Eastwood came to our care with his Vizsla partner, called Violin. His condition was critical, but thanks to the caring hands, he looks like a different dog. He was barely able to walk when he arrived and he needed help with getting up / down. Compared to his age and bad backs, he is now in a much better condition, even the smallest walks are good.  The host of Eastwood is supporting our association since we established and they are real Dobberman – lovers. No wonder he immediately kidnapped their hearts. Eastwood is not going anywhere, he lives as a happy family dog.

In the German dogs group Sherlock has returned from his owner in a short time on this week ... Unfortunately, things did not work as it should have been. So Sherlock is looking for an owner and final home again. We are waiting those dedicated, presistent and patient candidates, who can recognize that with dogs you have to deal a lot.- walking, educating, practice. Sherlock is hard to make friends with men. There was great silence in the Dachshund group over the past few weeks, but now again we had two dogs who moved to owners.

Honor, the short-haired Dachshund male found in Papa, patient, clever and a good boy, will live with his owner in the area Buda-hills. It was a love on the first sight, so he already moved on this weekend. They just start get to know each other, but it is going well.

Our another dog, called Törköly found owner. There was not interesed in about the shy and quiet male dog for a long time, but now a family choose him. They arrived from far away to the visit, but there was no question they wanted him. Törköly moved to Szeged. His shyness is already nicely develops. He needs such kind of home, where he is the only one dog and loved by their owners.

Belló came from Orosháza, after 8 years, because he bit a little his owner. Sure there was a reason why he has done this, as enough a bad move and it may be happen. Belló is very sad, but luckily he could integrated to the team after couple days. He loves children very much and also comes out with other dogs great. He had an own kitty at home and they played in the bed. So Belló is yearning for a real and darling owner.
