Many things changed during this week. We are over a really active one now,
just a little bit ahead of the Holiday season.
At the Hungarian vizsla breed rescue Bársony Márton left the kennel row behind
to move to a temporary adopter – if everything goes well and he fits in his new
family, they would also like to adopt him.
Kaila’s routine heartworm test proved negative, she underwent
neutralization.
Mex arrived at our care from his previous owner, one of his ears is missing
since his birth. He was placed at a routinous temporary adoptive, learning now
the rules of living in a flat and parallel in a city.
Starsky and Hutch got from their former owner to the animal protectors at
Nyírmada, asking our help in their placement. The two GSP boys do not take
being locked up easy, we would like to find them temporary or permanent
adopters as soon as possible.
Mákgubó found his final family this week.
Békás Riki arrived at our care with his pekingese mate, Bubu, as we are
never leaving mate dogs behind. They are a bit shy yet, we do hope they will
soon warm up.
Metaxa was found by animal friends around Tata, he had not been
microchipped and during the last month they could not find his original owner
either. He did not get on well with his founder’s dog, hence got to our care.
Zsanna, Zsella and Zsolna got to our care from the Eger animal protectors,
we would like to find their final families soon so that they could grow up with
their owners.
Thanks to our foreign partner organization Csupi, Szolfézs, Eber, Erdei
Rudi and Lola, Hinda, MaMarci and LükeFüge could head towards their new lives.
This week was a really lively one at the Great Dane breed rescue. One day
we felt on top of the world, the other just the bottom of it all L
Starting with the great news: our wonderful Mirka left for Germany on
Saturday, she is already spending her days there surrounded by warmth and love.
Our yellow youngster, Bambusz is also spending the Holidays at his new
home. The visits went just so well, that no doubt arose: it was really love at
first sight J The following day our Big Boy just packed together
and moved to his new family.
Our second Christmas wonder is PEPE!! J
Pepe also left the kennel row behind and by now is stretching out lazily in
the warmth, smelling fine after a nice bath. We cannot tell you how grateful we
are for his owners to ensure him love, family, home!
And the worst pieces of news:
Woki and Henrik are back at the kennel row…yes, Woki’s adoption was not a
successful one and sadly we could not place him anywhere else but the kennel
row. Woki is looking for an owner with extreme urgency!!!
Henrik is also looking for an owner as soon as possible – there was nothing
wrong with him, but needed to leave his former adoptive family for a change in
their family relationships. It is a shock for every dog, we know, but Henrik is
the one getting depressed of living in a kennel.
Please help them with a share to be able to find their owners soon!
Thanks very much!
The last week was a really active one at the Dachshund breed rescue, with
many of our dogs moving to owners before the Holiday Season.
From the Katona family Dáma seemed to be the lucky one, but unfortunately
she returned to us two days later, now is looking for an owner again.
Tizedes also headed for an owned life, luckily everything seems to be
working out nice. The first night he was crying a bit yet, but in a couple of
days got used to living without his mates.
Oleg soon found a new family, already waiting for him eagerly – from this
time on he is sleeping in a bed…and not alone, as he is accompanying a nice,
young female as the latest family member.
Xéna, this very nice, calm lady also found her new home, was a bit
frightened by the changes, but for the following day fitted in perfectly – and
took control over the whole flat.
For Sör’s arrival a very kind family was preparing a lot, this nice, tiny
little boy is already within their circle of trust.
We also had several arrivals, among them Rezes, the 5-year-old mini
Dachshund female, Ralph, the 2-year-old mini Dachshund male and Zara, the
2-year-old kaninchen Dachshund female. All the three of them are very shy –
their socialization has started and is going on well, but much time is needed
yet for them to warm and open completely up.
Mustár, the 4-month-old long-haired Dachshund mixture male was found in the
countryside, his original owner did not show up for him. A very nice, clever
little one, already waiting for the dream-owner’s application.
Mirabella simply walked into a yard in Őrbottyán, this middle aged lady is
very friendly and lovable, we do hope someone is soon falling in love with her.
Borka is getting adopted, her temporary adopters will change their status
to final one.
Most protegees of the base group are from now on taken care of by the
organization founded by the previous head of this group, those living at the
kennel row have physically moved to her as well. All of them are looking for
their owners from the new organization.
With the change of head the base group does not cease to exist, work,
rescuing goes on, unfortunately dogs in need will always show up.
Currently there are 3 dogs in the group (Ügyes, Palotás Panna and Palotás
Peti) and the new ones are arriving continuously…
