What happened at the Futrinka on the 12th week of 2015?

This week we do not have a lot of  good news. Gülüke, the old and sick dog of the dachshund rescue group, unfortunately, passed away. In the last few days of his life he felt the love of a family due to his temporary caretakers.

Two short-legged dogs got adopted. Puszil, the dachshund mixture girl with patches from Balassagyarmat joined another dachshund and, fortunately, adapted to the new situation without any problems.

Yukka has also left us. But the wire-haired dachshund girl with serious separation problems found a strong family. They will not give up easily although Yukka is really creative about destruction.

We got three new dachshunds this week. We will not have an easy job with any of them... Csipit, the seriously abused and kicked dog with a wound under the eye comes from the Komló dogcatcher’s place. Unfortunately, the treatment is not simple either as she bites, understandably.

Two new dogs came from the Csongrád dogcatcher’s. Unfortunately, both had bad results at the heart worm test...

Réti, the small mixture girl was taken in by her ex-owner. She is adaptive and friendly, far from pushy. Unfortunately, due to her breast tumor she needs operation in a short time even if she has heartworm problems.

Poltergeist is a larger dachshund mixture boy with heavy bones. He moved in to one of our dog hotels. Unfortunately, he does not get on with other dogs at the moment.

Huncut and Pilkar, mother and son joined the Hungarian pointer rescue group this week.

The adopted dogs of the pointer group could travel to Germany with the help of our German partner organization, ViN. The lucky ones are Asa, Bóbitás, Karr and Cora.

A deaf German dane dog joined the German rescue group. Szofusz arrived and Hektor finally left with a family.

At the group of the hopeless mixtures, Rocky, the veteran setter from the Tatabánya dogcatcher’s was sterilized with great care.

Thanks to a special cooperation within the team and the involvement of personal contacts to provide finances for medical and hotel costs, Abszolút, the frightened boy waiting to be put to sleep, could come to our kennels from the Füzesgyarmat dogcatcher’s. Unfortunately, he also has hear worm so he will need our care for a longer time.
