What happened at Futrinka on the 27th week of 2015?

This week several of our vizslas could move to owners. Some of them have found their final home abroad, the others within Hungary.

Gwenola underwent neutralization this week, Gomez, Szimka, Hóka and Netti have simply left our care for a family life.

We did not think it would go so fast, but Vajda, the paralized GSP has also found an owner, he will continue his life in Germany, as the pet of a committed young couple.

These places have not stayed empty for long, as this week we were finally able to reduce our waiting list a little bit, also acting in emergency situations.

Our new arrivals are Kóber and Kátai Füles, the well got-together GSP-Hungarian vizsla pair, Szőlösi Töki and Liza from a miserable, makeshift kennel, Kolos and Békési mami, the latter luckily finding her owner thanks to her chip number.

Barót, the GSP has undergone neutralization, but as his stress-resisting capability is not too high and tends to bite in tense situations, his operation happened not by awakening. As we were afraid that he gets sick in the heat, we transported him to one of our more familiar pensions, where under the guidance of a stricter expert on dogs he managed to integrate to the mixed pack in a smooth way. Barót is still waiting for an owner.

From among the group of chanceless the vizsla pair of Kisvárda flew out. URH, the elderly vizsla male was an absolutely hopeless case regarding his adoption, as there is no interest in old, white-haired dogs. Antenna had a couple of interested candidates, but noone tolerated fleeing + being active when thinking of a dog to adopt…even if vizslas are basically not the sitting-at-home, absolutely calm animals…

Dr. Spock, our elderly chihuahua male also underwent neutralization this week. We were extremely worried about him both because of his size and age, but fortunately everything was all right.

Hetty King, a black mixture puppy arrived at our care, being super lucky to move to an owner the very same week. Of course to be kept within the flat and with an obligation for neutralization.

Two dogs have arrived to Dachshund breed rescue with the mediation of the Tiszaújváros animal protectors, both of them from among extreme bad circumstances. Mitzi, the Dachshund mixture mum used to live in an open yard on a huge chain, but luckily at her temporary adoptive found the sofa pretty fast. She can be adopted after her vaccinations and neutralization.

Maddy is one of the puppies of Mitzi, a some-month-old Dachshund mixture female, also being lucky enough to escape poverty. She is also at temporary adoptives. We have started her vaccination programme, to be continued by the final owner, together with her neutralization of course.

Unfortunately one of our former protectees has got back to our care. Back then we saved Tükör, the middle-aged wire-haired Dachshund mixture male from the Miskolc flaying house, now placed at another one by the relatives after the death of his owner. Luckily they have informed us, hence we could take him back. Tükör is an extreme case regarding escaping attempts, this way could only be adopted for indoor keeping, by an active owner.

One of our dogs from this group left for an owner this week, these small successes we need desperately to be able to continue our rescue work…Emese, the basset-Dachshund mixture lady found her home. It is important to note that the ones falling in love with her were her regular kennel-row walking mates, hence after their holiday they ensured her what every dog would love to have: a loving, final home.

This week three of our protectees were given the chance of a nice portfolio by VauVau Professzionális Kutyafotó. We do hope this nice pics will help them finding their final families. The lucky ones were Petúr, the wire-haired Dachshund male, being partially incontinent because of his backbone problems – but even this way a very active one.The other two were Picurka-Cukorka, the black-tan short-haired Dachshund lady and Nörsz, the young kitten girl, whose red brothers have flown out really fast, but she has stayed with us, waiting for someone…
