Mi történt a Futrinka Egyesületnél a 49. héten?

Vizsla fajtamentő csoportunknál Lizka babái közül Október végleges családra talált. Hosszú és boldog gazdis éveket kívánunk!

Korábbi tulajdonosától került a gondozásunkba Kalamajka panziós befogadóhoz. Nagyon sokat kell még vele foglalkozni, láthatóan soha nem volt nevelve.

Egyesületünk számára is fontos, hogy a fiatalabb generációt a felelős állattartásra tanítsa, ezért külön öröm volt számunkra az Addetur Baptista Gimnázium Szakgimnázium és Szakiskola meghívása. Az iskola több mint két évtizede működik azzal a céllal, hogy segítse a mozgássérült és autista fiatalok beilleszkedését a társadalomba, és javítsa a munkaerőpiacon történő elhelyezkedésük esélyét.

Önkénteseink egy prezentáció keretében bemutatták Egyesületünk tevékenységét és beszéltek az állatok védelmének fontosságágáról, a felelős állattartásról. Az előadásban pedig közreműködtek volt védenceink, Edgar és Gipsz, illetve védencünk, Ügyes.

Köszönjük a meghívást és a sok-sok tárgyi adományt, melyet az iskola gazdikeresőink részére gyűjtött! Ha az idő kicsit jobbra fordul a tanulók is ellátogatnak majd hozzánk.

Az elmúlt héten öt kutyánk költözhetett gazdához, nagy örömünkre.

Oreo majdnem 1,5 évet töltött köztünk, sajnos érdeklődés nélkül, de szerencsére most rajta is megakadt valakinek a szeme. A találkozás remekül sikerült, a mi kis félős fiúnk azonnal a gazdijelölt ölében landolt. Mindkét részről szerelem volt első látásra. Így Oreo most már debreceni lakosként élheti az életét.

Brie egy félős kicsi lány, viszont nagyon szerencsés volt, szinte érkezése után volt rá már érdeklődés, a látogatás is jól sikerült. Most már ő is gazdis kutya lett, és teljes értékű családtag.

Púder is meghódította hamar a szívét valakinek, így érzékeny búcsút vett tőlünk, és átköltözött új családjába.

Lokátor két hónapja várta az érdeklődőket, de néhány jól sikerült kép meghozta a szerencséjét, hirtelen sokan érdeklődtek utána. Végül egy régi örökbefogadónkhoz költözhetett, ahol egy másik mentvényünkkel, Tőzikével folytathatja az életét.

A héten egy kutyánk érkezett, Pongó rövid szőrű tacskó keverék fiú, aki gazdája súlyos betegsége miatt került a gondozásunkba. Még ijedt, és nem érti mi történt vele, reméljük hamar megnyugszik és valaki beleszeret hamarosan.

Mi történt a Futrinka Egyesületnél a 48. héten?

Egy igazán mozgalmas héttel vágtunk neki a decembernek. A szokásos orvosi körök és érkezések mellett pedig még egy kis jó hangulatú rendezvényen együtt is tudtunk ünnepelni.

Vizsla fajtamentő csoportunknál a héten többen is gazdára találtak, ám érkeztek is a gondozásunkba, köztük a súlyos állapotban lévő kölyök vizsla.

Leonira az út szélén találtak elütve, azonnal a segítségünket kérték és a gondozásunkba került. A kórházban alapos vizsgálaton esett át, a jobb alsó állkapcsa és a jobb felső lábszára is eltört. Az ultrahangon szerencsére nem látszott belső vérzés és folyadék. Nagy fájdalmai voltak, a gyógyszerek mellett is sokat sírt, ezért a mielőbbi műtét mellett döntöttünk. A műtét jól sikerült, ám az operáció után elkezdett rohamozni, klasszikus epilepszia tünetek, ezért be kellett altatni, infúziót és gyógyszereket kapott. Néhány napot a kórházban kellett töltenie, majd mikor az állapota stabilizálódott hazatérhetett ideiglenes befogadójával. A rohamok megszűntek, a sérült lábát és az állkapcsát szépen használja.

Lüszi 13 évesen korábbi tulajdonosaitól láncról és rettenetesen soványan került a gondozásunkba. A szívféregtesztje sajnos pozitív lett, ezért meg kellett kezdenünk a lassabb, de biztonságosabb kezelését.

Fülimüle szívféregtesztje szerencsére negatív lett, így áteshetett az ivartalanításon. Készen állt a gazdisodosára, így még a héten végleges családjához költözhetett. Hosszú és boldog gazdis éveket kívánunk!

Alap tevékenységi csoportunknál Serena és Hajnal szívféreg tesztje negatív lett.

Pepsi szívféreg tesztje sajnos pozitív lett, így meg kell kezdenünk a lassabb, de biztonságosabb kezelését.

Szombaton került megrendezésre a Futrinka Egyesület Mikulás-napi és karácsonyi rendezvénye a Vasmacska Teraszon. Egykori védenceink, örökbefogadóink és támogatóink szép számban érkeztek, kellemes hangulatban telt az esemény.

A héten több érkezőnk is volt.

Púdert Győrben találták, eredeti gazdája nem került elő, chipje nem volt. Kedves kislányt ismerhettünk meg benne, reméljük hamar gazdira talál majd.

Uno fiatal szálkás szőrű kan, akit szintén az utcán találtak, 14 napig még az eredeti gazdáját keresi.

Pipernek, a  szálkás szőrű keverék kislánynak segítséget kértek, miután sérülés érte a gazdájának már nem kellett. Az, hogy hogy sérült, nem tisztázott, érkezésekor azonnal kórházba került.

Hógolyó tacskó keverékként érkezett, aztán kiderült, hogy jóval nagyobb, mint egy tacskó. Fiatal kislány, akivel nem igazán foglalkoztak és a gyepin kötött ki, mert nem kellett. Most egy álom gazdira vár.

Diórda több, mint egy éve érkezett, valahogy mindig  ő volt, aki lemaradt a gazdiról, pedig picike, kedves és tökéletes kutya, aztán végre eljött az igazi érte is. Költözés előtt még kozmetikában is járt.

Most már gazdis kutyaként élheti az életét, aki dolgozóba is jár a gazdival és imádják, hát kell ennél több?

Box, a 3 éves szálkás szőrű tacskónak ugyan volt gazdája, mégis mindig az utcán volt, amíg párfogásába nem vette egy kedves hölgy. Kiderült, a gazdájának nem kell, így segítséget kért  számára.

Frissen kozmetikázva, beoltva érkezhetett a gondozásunkba, és most ő is elköltözhetett új otthonába, ahol végre boldog kutya lehet.

What happened at Futrinka during week 47?

Unfortunately, the budget of our Vizsla rescue group is very coming to an end. Until our financial situation is not settled, we can only temporarily receive a new dog in case of an emergency. So the week was more relaxed in our group's home. In order to reduce our costs, we are looking for temporary hosts for our protegee, who are living in pensions! Letti lived on chain, before she arrived in our care. She is emaciated. She is nicely strengthened at her temporarly host, her vaccination process become finished and her Dirofilaria test is negative. She is undergone her neutering.

Courtesy of our foreign partner association help, what called Hands4Paws, three of our protegee could started their new life: Jiza, Hermina and Csipike.

Noki found a final home in this week, we wish him a long and happy life with his owner.

Lüszi from Cegléd was an owner dog. She lived on a chain. She was very thin when she arrived and although it has grown fat, there is still a place to get the extra kilos. Her host changed. There was a lot of bustle in the crowd at our volunteer, so she moved to another host member.

At the basic core group, more of our portegee undergone the castration process.

Lente is already spent the recovering time with her family, after the operation. We wish a long and happy years for her.

Three dogs arrived into our care during this week from the Kecel’s carrion-pit: Hajnal, Serena and Pepsi.

In the dachshund group more of the dogs could move to their owner on last week.

Panír has only moved temporarily and she does not do simple things, because she has separation anixety, but we hope that it will be resolved and everything will be ok.

Brit is the blind dachshund boy, who had visitors, could move after the visiting, and this wonderful boy can spend their time now in a new family.We wish him a very happy life!

Sziporka had long been waiting for become a dog who has an owner. Her time has come. She could move with two dachshunds companion and became a happy family dog.

Fairy Lala was a very nice and good dog. He has been in our care for 4 months. Many people were scared because of the congestion of the muscles, but there are those who can still accept a dog inspite of this. The visit was soon followed by moving, and now he is already also going to his owner workplace.

There were several inquirers for Lóczi but somehow did not come up with the real thing, but as we know it may change, so it happened. Today Lóczi is a family dog, he has to learn lot, but he is a smart, good dog, who will be all right.

What happened at Futrinka during week 46?

We invite every two and four-legged guest to the Christmas Party of Futrinka Association on December 2 from 11 to 15 at Vasmacska Terasz (district 22, Budafok, Fékező Street 1.)!

The 2018 Diary of Futrinka Association has arrived! Support our proteges with the minimum of 2500 Ft and we surprise you with a limited edition 2018 Diary. The diaries can be taken personally at our Christmas Party as well as by post (in this case please consider the cost of postage). Regarding the diaries, please contact us through the info@futrinkautca.hu email address.

The Futrinka Association and the Szív a Sisak Alatt organization is collecting donated gifts in order to deliver them to children living in poor conditions on the 9th of December. You can also participate by sending a package filled with gifts so that the Santa can surprise even more kids this year. The donations may either be sent to the office of Wonderduck Agency (1118 Budapest, Rétköz Street 31. from Monday to Friday between 9:30 am and 5:30 pm) or handed over personally at our Christmas Party.

At our Vizsla Rescue Group we had several adoptions and newcomers as well this week. Unluckily, the letter happened to be more this time.

The vet was called to Uncle Charlie by his owners due to extermination, luckily the doctor refused to carry out the procedure on a healthy animal. Hence the owners tried to find someone willing to swat him. Charlie is distrustful, always growls at people. Supposedly, he bit one of his owners that’s why they wanted to exterminate the dog. Charlie has been accomodated by one of our experienced temporary owners. His behaviour seems to aries from fear, luckily he doesn’t attack, instead he indicates his uncertanity and tries to back out of the situation.

Fancsi has been taken into our care as a found dog, he didn’t have a chip and his owner wasn’t looking for him either. At first his skin was in a terrible condition. Since then he is heeling perfectly, and although he has some bald spots on his legs, his fur is going to grow back soon.

Lili has arrived from her previous owners. She has been diagnosed with heartworms so we are about to start her slow but safe treatment.

The workers at the ambulance station of Karcag seeked our help in the case of a Hungarian Vizsla male (pictured below). He has been take into our care and received the name Ford. Our volunteers took a trip to the animal shelter of Karcag, that’s how they could transport the dog to Budapest. He was full of ticks, we found more than 50 in his fur. We are currently searching for his owner.

This week three of our proteges found their new homes.

When Miho arrived it was obvious that ha had never been taken care of. Everything was new for him and he had to learn a lot. Our relationship didn’t start off easily, however, it was worth the effort. Finally, he was able to move to his new home.

Lobi was proved to be lucky on our adoptation day. This week he found his new owner and he could move in next to one of our old proteges.

Galanga was spayed the previous week, she recovered from the surgery and this week she could move in her new home.

We wish them long and happy years spent as adopted dogs!

At our Dachshund Rescue Group we has been through and amazing week. Two of our helpless dogs managed to find new homes which ment true happiness for us.   

Fondor arrived to our group more than a year ago. He has been through a spine surgery therefor his walking is not perfect. He had problems regarding urinary and bowel incontinence as well. He received acupuncture treatment which helped a lot, even though he still didn’t gain interest. His day has finally come and this week he is moving to his new home.

Gömbös has been taken into our care after the death of his previous owner. His initial behaviour arised from the illness of his former owner, he couldn’t really handle petting and he often bit others. Now he is about to move with Fondor.

Toncsi, the wire-haired Dachshund male, arrived from Debrecen this week. Currently he is suffering from skin disorder, thus he is under treatment. Otherwise, he is a really friendly dog.

Claus is an extremely friendly and smart young boy, who has improved a lot at his temporary owner. Now, he is living with his new family.

Tita has also found her place. At first she wasn’t really successful, but now she can live the happy life of an adopted dog.

Balhé is just about to be 6 months old, he is still a baby. He spent a couple of weeks at his temporary owner where he could master all the basic rules. Now his owners are responsible for his development.
