Futrinka Egyesület: What happened at Futrinka during week 45?

This week had a shocking event again but we also had happy times, although we would prefer to report about good stories only.

Our Vizsla Rescue Group had some bad news this week.

Makk suddenly got ill. He got medicines, infusion, vitamins, his blood results got very bad compared to some days before and his condition did not really get better. The swollen lymph was examined and the results very terrible: lymphoma, lymph cancer. The decision was hard: he could have lived for some time suffering with medicines and in a worse and worse condition. His body could not tolerate chemotherapy. We had to say good-bye now, he already had pains. This is a bad year for us. We are waiting for it to finish. Rest in peace Makk!!

After a failed adoption Joda moved to his new family. Unfortunately, he moved back again and is looking for a family again.

Last week the adoption day was a lucky day for James Bond. A family fell in love with him. This week he officially moved to his new family. He really deserved it after waiting for a year with us.

The other lucky guy receiving visitors on the adoption day was Galanga. After a negative heartworm test he was sterilized and for a few days he is recovering with his caretaker before moving to his real family. They are waiting for him a lot.

This week two of our dogs changed caretakers: Converse moved to a dog hotel, Tangó moved to a family caretaker.

At our basic activity group two dogs were adopted.

Panna joined us with her partner coming from a terrible place. Peti got a new family quickly but Panna had two failed attempts to find family. Last week on the adoption day she had visitors and the relationship was mutually positive. This week she moved to her family and we hope everything will be ok.
