What happened at Futrinka on the 28th week of 2015?

Illness. Unfortunately, this week was in many ways about death. We lost two puppies and there might be more. We cannot prevent it and cannot help. Due to a vaccination the complete Építés litter got type A parvo infection and they are not getting better. És and Érme have given up unfortunately. We simply do not understand what is happening. We would also like to say or repeat that we are not able to responsibly look after complete litters, neither financially nor emotionally. We cannot cope with the awful risk that looking after a puppy means. We cannot accept that some puppies are always lost. They are so vulnerable, they have no immune system and the infections are different and changing all the time. Now we are mourning the lost ones because it should not have happened. This should not have happened.

Unfortunately, the German Dane group also experienced loss. Tosca was infected by some bad illness and although he was taken to hospital immediately, he passed away.

The little puppy-like Dáró of the Hungarian pointer rescue group moved to the new family. As the weather is very hot, the dog will be sterilized later. The new owner agreed to arrange it and we will just check it. This way he could leave the kennels.

We have two new dogs as well: Lolka and Bolka, the two little pointer and dachshund mixtures have arrived and are waiting for the new owner candidates at temporary caretakers.

Lolka és Bolka

The dachshund rescue group has lost a very good temporary caretaker but at the same time got a perfect owner for the old dachshund lady, Izsu, who can now continue her life as a full family member. There were not many candidates waiting for her and we knew we surely could not find a better place for her, we are very grateful and happy to see her happy. Thank you for adopting her!!!

Házikó, the wire-haired dachshund who lost a leg is now living with a celeb temporarily. Currently he is learning about life in a flat with Demény and in the meantime they inform the world about their daily things. Animal protection groups reported the case of the ex-owner to the police. He did not take the dog to the vet about the injured leg. Fortunately, his legal status is ok now. The ex-family has no right to the dog family any more. The ownership terminated when the dog was taken to the shelter.

Talking of dog legs, Csekk must be mentioned, too. He is the dachshund mixture who was found with very serious injuries by the road more or less in the same area as where Házikó also comes from. He is getting better and this week the metal parts can also be removed. He just needs to be sterilized and then the perfect and committed, loving owner can come. This is still missing.

Traubi got to us from the Pápa animal protection group. The wire-haired dachshund girl used to live on a chain and is now staying with one of our temporary caretakers. If everything goes well, she is not staying with us for long as there are serious candidates interested in this sweet little dog. We do understand.
