What happened at the Futrinka on the 17th week of 2015?

Soon the deadline expires for submitting the declarations about the 1% of income tax; therefore, we ask you, if you can, please honour us with choosing Futrinka Organisation in your declaration. The funds that we receive this way provide a solid financial foundation for our organisation the whole year round. Without this amount, we could only save a fraction as many dogs as we are able to with your offerings.

Our tax registration number is 18258473-1-43

This week ended the latest gathering of Tárnoki Okosok. Our dogs had a great time; enjoyed both the company of their trainers and the various activities. We thank you all who assisted us. In addition, we would like to express our appreciation to the team of www.kutyatrening.hu for the dog trainings.

148 dogs and their “human families” attended to the event called Vizsla Túra in Királyrét on 26th April, where our organisation’s Hungarian Vizsla Breed Rescue Team was also present.
We received donations of dry dog food as well as a large sack of canned food. We thank you all who helped and participated in the happening, as well as we thank those who arranged this event!

The Dachshund Breed Rescue Team has had a busy week: the team both received new dogs and gave out dogs for adoption. In addition, they paid unplanned visits to the veterinarian.
The temporary owner of Nektárka could not part from her. Although, a family visit had already been scheduled, the temporary owners decided to adopt Nektárka.

The two four-month-old Dachshund puppies, Holt and Hova, had been rescued from a breeder. They knew little about the world around them and showed the signs of aggression caused by fear. Both of them were received by an experienced temporary owner.

In the countryside, a short-coated female Dachshund was found. Currently, we are taking care of Maga, who is now waiting for her original owner to show up.

Súgó had been handed over to our organisation by its owner due to his continuous escapes and tendency to hunt chicken. Súgó is a five-year-old, easy-going and friendly dog. Currently, he lives in one of our kennels and is waiting for to be adopted.

There is a great news for this week: Páva, the Dachshund mix who was diagnosed with heartworm disease before, has recovered! We repeated the test, just to be sure, and we received a negative result both times!

Unfortunately, Csipit had to stay in a hospital, due to the serious condition that was caused by his inflamed teeth. In the hospital, the troubled teeth had to be removed in order to stop the continuous inflammation and help recovering the dog.

The Hungarian Vizsla Breed Rescue Team received several dogs this week, such as Beő the Hungarian Vizsla male, who was handed over by his owner, Lifa, a female who was found and currently is waiting for her original owner and Zémona a mix female with Vizsla ancestors who came from a shelter in the countryside.

We had one more new-arrival, the giant Vizsla Góliát, who was lost, but luckily, his owner came to pick him up.

Balikó and Mandi were neutralised this week. The great news is that after the surgery, Balikó was adopted.

Two of our dogs were adopted; however, one of them, the tiny and funny Hóka was not lucky for long. She had been handed back to our organisation on the very next day. Hóka stays at the Dog Garden dog hotel and is waiting for adoption.

Müti had been much luckier, than Hóka. The cute squinted-eyed Vizsla-girl had finally been adopted.

Due to reasons, such as internal reorganisation and dogs on heat, two of our dogs, Tódi and Nara, had to be moved from their temporary homes to a dog hotel. That is where they are currently waiting for their dream owners.

Sadly, Csirik’s heartworm test was positive; therefore, we started his treatment immediately.

In the group of Chanceless Mix Dogs, Vörös who we received last week, had undergone neutralisaiton. Before the operation, we tested him for heartworms and we are happy to confirm that the result was negative.

This week, Jázmin moved to temporary owners, where she will master the rules of living in a domestic environment

Árész from the German Dog Rescue Team had finally been adopted and moved to his new family.

Unfortunately, Nico, who was way too bony originally as well, had to be taken to a hospital due to gastritis. We are hoping that he gets better soon…
