What happened to Futrinka during week 17?

Dachshund rescue has a negative series lately, all of the last weeks having one returnee protegee. This time it was Bora, after a couple of weeks owned, only because the owner faced an increased amount of work to do…This was his third adoption by us, and this is absolutely not Bora’s mistake!

Hardver, our village-rescued tough guy from the beginning of the year moved to accompany Csibécske. We would not have believed such a great luck awaits him.

Másik is also owned now, though not moving anywhere: his temporary adoptives decided to keep him.

The breaking news amongst our chanceless mixtures is Pejva, developing fast by the side of a paid trainer: this week he was walking together with his trainer’s dog without a muzzle!

Two females of our kennel row inhabitants underwent neutralization, both of them taking it well. Karácsony Linda has not raised any attention till now and though Szimi was inquired upon twice, there is no change in their situation, both of them continuing their lives at the kennel row.

Cérnaszál got loads of mails, but his life just did not want to turn right. Luckily the hundredth candidate proved to be really good, Cérnaszál got owned this week.

Futrinka Association was founded 10 years ago. A handful number of people tried to rescue the chanceless ones using the money given together by them. Back then this one was the focus point, not the breed rescues. Our primary place of rescue was Illatos út, facing a serious distemper epidemy and frequent cases of dogs being put to sleep. To our tenth birthday we returned a bit to the initial scene of our rescues and try to get one dog out of Illatos út each month. Our April one is BioJosta, the last member of Bio family, caught by a trap. A shy, non-socialized female.

The best piece of news at our vizsla breed rescue was Juhar, getting adopted on Sunday, but till then had happenings for every single day of the week.

In the beginning of the week Iza and Belle, Mom and daughter got to our care from a family living amongst difficult conditions, all of Belle’s brothers had passed away. Both of them are over their first medical check-up, luckily are all right – given the circumstances.

Bori could not participate in the last training of the dog school, but was not the least sad about it, as she moved to her final family.

Living in the street has left its marks on the hair of E-babies, leaving it strongly deficient. Scratches were taken of the babies, according to the result they are lousy, meaning they could not get their due vaccination this week.

Uncle Malaki used to guard a plant in the last years, being sold lately, with the new owner not needing his service. Luckily a nearby animal friend followed his fate and asked for our help. Despite his age of 11 years his health condition is better than awaited, but his routine heartworm test proved positive, hence we have started his treatment.

This week two of our protegees went under neutralization, Pili and Byron.

Helen, recovering from her hernia operation, was awaiting a longer journey, our foreign partner organization has found her a final family, waiting for her eagerly.

Bobby changed his adoptive, his temporary ones could not undertake his keeping any longer, hence moved to a family pansion and is waiting for the ownership candidates there.

On Sunday Juhar could leave the kennel row behind after almost half a year there, our former adoptives, the owners of Pompás adopted him, as unfortunately Pompás passed away due to a tumourous disease.

Ronina arrived at our care from her previous owners, has some issues to make up for to become a perfect mate, but with the necessary training and patience she would make it.

The 5-week course of Tárnok Clever ones has come to an end. Our dogs can thank a lot to the education kept by the team of kutyatrening.hu, the extra attention and the trainings given to them. Thanks a lot to all, being by the side of our dogs during these 5 weeks. You are great!

1 May was also Labour Day for us, we planned to put our kennel row in order this day. Though only several people showed up, their enthusiasm compensated for all, we did a lot there. We would need though shelves as illustrated. If someone has a spare one of these, please bring them to us. Thanks a lot!
