What happened at Futrinka on the 35th week of 2015?

At our kennels cats appear frequently which might be natural at stables but we try to take responsibility for the ones who stay at our site. We not always succeed in intervening: a cat was caught by one of our dogs and the cat died. But Atáma, the tabby-red girl moved to a foster family where she could start her socialization. Of course she is looking for a final home.

We took over from the Ajka shelter Athén, the small beagle like mix girl, who moved to one of our fosters’.

Our third arrival this week was Tusi, who looks like a bonsai St. Bernard. Tusi was adopted from the Illatos str. but the family’s circumstances changes so she needed to go. Tusi is a kind male dog who used to living in a flat, housebroken and would mostly like to be an only dog.

Vidar, the great dane-vizsla mix went through neutralization surgery and luckily the heart-worm test was also negative.

Hableány is also heart-worm negative so she had her neutralization surgery as well but after she moved to her new home where the family is already fond of her.

To the Dachshund rescue group this week 3 wire haired dachshund arrived and we also got one short haired dachshund girl.

Horzsol and Pörzse, the dachshund boy and girl arrived from their owner, a very matching pair so we would like them to stay together.

Satu arrived to us due to the death of the owner and the heirs did not want the dog. Satu is a super dog waiting for a super owner.

Finally it was possible to make the neutralization surgery of Réti, the old mix and at the same time she had her nipples removed from one side. According to the histology it was a benignus tumor luckily but still one more surgery is ahead of her.

Our squint dachshund Vadfruttik also had a neutralization surgery and luckily he is also heart-worm negative.

Rovancs also had had a neutralization surgery but the heart-worm test was positive. We started the treatment.

The arrivals to our Hungarian vizsla rescue group was one Hungarian vizsla male in a shocking condition, Éliás and one german pointer mix  girl  Dina.

Our several protégés had neutralization surgery and right before a heart-worm test. All of them are healthy and recovering. Kolos, Biga, Torzsi and Rosie are ready for adoption.
