What happened at the Futrinka on the 10th week of 2015?

We do a background checks on all prospective adoptive families. All who wish to adopt from us need to be pre-qualified and our adoption procedure is also very much hands-on all the way. Despite all precautions, we run into problems sometimes. Well intentioned people turn out to be unable to care for their new pet. Usually it only becomes obvious only some time after the adoption. This is what happened to poor Yukka. A family had been waiting for her for weeks but she was on her way back to us in a couple days after her adoption because she has separation anxiety and the adopting family gave up on dealing with it.
It is a huge responsibility to welcome a pet in your home. With rescue pets especially, it is very common not to feel safe in their new environment immediately. It is not their fault. Yukka is now looking for her real loving forever family.

Posz on the other hand is a very lucky chap indeed. This little wire haired kaninchen dachshund is recovering from his neutering procedure in his new home.

Szivárvány has nothing to worry about either,  since her adoptive family had a chance to get to know her before her adoption was finalized. This girl is staying with her fosters happily ever after.

Our German partner organization helped us out with placing three of our rescue dachshunds this week.
First one is Tina. She had been with us for a long time. She received a clean bill of health after a successful heartworm treatment regimen. Still no one was interested in this 9 year old girl. Now she is living the dream in Germany with her new family

Mama Gobelin arrived to us with her litter of puppies. She did not spend much time with us and now we seem to have found a perfect match for her in Germany.

Foton ,the blind wired hair dachshund was also placed in Germany. This is his second round for adoption. We wish him good luck.

New arrival this week is Rocky the ageing setter mix from the Tatabánya pound. He is one of the two setters we took in this week.

The other one is Salmon. He is stunningly handsome. Supposedly not too bright though. His previous owner gave him to us. He spent all his life outside. After the usual rounds of tests and neutering he will be looking for new home.
All our dogs are adoptable to be house pets.

Lena, formerly known as Little Menace, moved to a new foster family. She is taking the change in strides and putting her best foot forward in her new place. With the great care provided by her foster families she keeps opening up and becoming the loving and lovable dog she can be.

Hessi from the Cegléd pound moved to a foster family this week. None the less, with the option to adopt if the bonding works out for both parties. We are eagerly anticipating great news soon.

Two of our long time vizsla residents moved abroad. Berka and Chad packed up their favorite blankets and toys this week and found new homes abroad. Having foreign relations is very helpful with the placement of our vizslas especially. There are so many of them here waiting for placement that we could not manage without their help.

This is Vadkörte. He is currently recovering from his neutering operation. It is great news because now he is also adoptable. Waiting for visitors.
